POLYPORES FROM BAISHILAZI NATURE RESERVE,LIAONING PROVINCE CUI Bao-Kai DAI Yu-Cheng LI Juan Abstract:276 specimens of poroid wood-decaying fungi were collected from Baishilazi Nature Reserve and surrounding area of Kuandian County, Liaoning Province, and 84 species of polypores were identified from these materials. A checklist of the polypores is given, and the host of each species is supplied. Most of the species are the first time reported in the area, and 34 species are new to Liaoning Province. In addition, Perenniporia medulla-panis sensu stricto is new to Chinese fungal flora, and a detailed description of the species is given according to our material. The major elements of wood-inhabiting fungi in Baishilazi Nature Reserve and its surrounding area are the widely distributed temperate species.
